Graduate Symposium
Today Ex Alumni from our wonderful SPD course came to show us what life is like when you leave the university and go out into the big bad wide world. Students studying Surface Pattern Design were given advice on applying for graduate programmes and design jobs from graduates who have been employed by high-profile companies such as Marks and Spencer, Hallmark and Moonpig. I find that i listen more when the advice comes from a recent graduate that i knew from the course, and relate to the experiences, it gives me and other students more tools to go on to pursue a career in all areas of surface pattern design.
